How the finder decides
Every job is held as a sequence of tool roles: first hold, then undo, then pull, then measure. For each role the finder looks in the ELDI range for the tool that fits your vehicle. If there is none, the role is named as workshop stock so that the list stays complete. The rules come from the datasheets and from workshop practice; vehicle-specific values such as tightening torques are in the workshop manual.
Questions about the finder
How does the tool finder work?
You pick the job and, if you want, your vehicle. The finder lists the tools in the order you need them, says why, and what happens if you leave one out. Tools that are not in the ELDI range are named as workshop stock.
What does optional mean?
Items marked with a dashed outline make the job easier or safeguard the result, but they are not essential. Everything else is compulsory if you do not want to damage the part.
Is my selection saved?
Yes, locally in your browser. Next time you visit, the job and the vehicle are already filled in. You can share the tool list or save it as an image.
Why is there no price?
Prices and availability change; they are in the shop. Every tool links to its datasheet and from there to the item at Racing Planet.
