ELDI has been building special tools for bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles since the 1950s. Flywheel pullers with a loose pressure pin, sprocket holders, degree wheels: made for Zündapp, Kreidler, Hercules, Puch and everything that rolled out of German factories back then.

Design feature
On an ordinary puller the pressure bolt turns on the crankshaft stub as you tighten it. Friction, heat and a chewed up shaft stub are the result. ELDI sets a hardened pressure pin loose on the end of the bolt. The bolt turns, the pin stands still. The force goes into the shaft on centre, and the shaft stays as it was.
This detail runs through the whole range: flywheel pullers, clutch pullers, bearing pullers. It is the reason why ELDI tools still work after fifty years exactly as they did on the first day.
To the flywheel puller datasheetAll pullers and holding tools in hardened special steel, made by the original equipment manufacturer.
No universal tool with adapters, but the right thread, the right chain, the right size.
Many tools are NOS: never used, in original packaging, from the factory stock.

ELDI stands for Ellinghaus & Dickmann, a tool manufacturer from Wuppertal-Elberfeld. Catalogue F8 of 1955 lists special tools for bicycles, mopeds and motorcycles: spoke nipple spanners, taper pliers, pedal spanners, fork spreaders. Tools for people who earned their living with them. Today the brand belongs to the MotoMobilityGroup, and the original stock is shipped through Racing Planet and its sister dealers.
Most of the range is NOS, that is new old stock: never used original tools from the factory stock. Every datasheet states whether the item comes from old stock.
That depends on the thread in the flywheel. ELDI offers M17x1 (Piaggio), M22x1.5 and M26x1.5 (Bosch/Ducati on Zündapp, Kreidler, Hercules, Puch) as well as M27x1.25 (Ducati on Hercules, Garelli, Malaguti). The tool finder and the thread table help you work it out.
At Racing Planet and the dealers of the MotoMobilityGroup. Every datasheet links straight to the article in the shop. You will find prices and availability there.
Historically yes, they are listed in catalogue F8. They are not part of the current range. The catalogue archive shows what ELDI used to make.
