What the tool does
The standard flywheel puller for the great majority of German mopeds and mokicks with Bosch or Ducati ignition. Two thread sizes on one tool: M22x1.5 on one side, M26x1.5 on the other. Made from hardened steel, with the loosely fitted, hardened pressure pin typical of ELDI.
When you need it
Whenever you need to get to the contact breaker, ignition coil, lighting coil, crankshaft oil seal or taper spring. The flywheel sits on the crankshaft stub with a taper and key, and it will not come off without a puller without causing damage.

How to use it
Remove the spark plug, undo the flywheel nut using a holding tool and take it off completely.
Screw the puller into the flywheel using the matching thread side (M22x1.5 or M26x1.5) as far as it will go. The thread must engage fully, otherwise it will strip out.
Turn the pressure screw by hand until it seats against the crankshaft stub, then tighten it evenly with a spanner.
If the flywheel does not come free straight away: keep the tension on and give the head of the pressure screw a light tap with a hammer. The blow releases the taper.
Remove the flywheel, secure the Woodruff key, clean the taper.
Levering with screwdrivers bends the flywheel and damages the coils underneath. Blows to the crankshaft stub upset the thread and can damage the crankshaft bearing.
The pressure pin sits loosely on the screw. It does not turn with the screw as it is tightened, so no friction builds up on the crankshaft stub. Put a drop of oil on the pressure thread before use.
