What the tool does
A 270 mm long steel tyre lever with a plastic handle. The length suits the 16 to 19 inch wheels of mopeds and mokicks.
When you need it
Changing a tyre or inner tube, pushing the tyre off the rim, lifting the bead over the rim flange.
How to use it
Let the air out, remove the valve core, push the tyre bead into the rim well all the way round.
Fit the lever opposite the valve, lift the bead over the rim flange, position a second lever about 10 cm to the side.
Work your way round section by section. Remove the tube, fit the new one lightly inflated.
When fitting, start at the valve and take care not to trap the tube.
Screwdrivers have sharp edges and puncture the tube or damage the rim flange.
Two levers are the minimum, three are comfortable. Wet the bead and rim with tyre paste or soapy water.
